Angry voices broke the silence of the night.A child buried her face into her arms and sobbed.She felt so drained out.so afraid in the dark and lonely room.Her parents were quarelling again.She does not understand a word they are uttering."You only know its time to go home when you are drunk!Dont you dare to deny it!you smell of hard liqour all over!",a femine voice broke out."If I knew that you only knew how to nag at your husband...I WOULD NOT HAVE MARRIED YOU!"No sooner the words were lashed out,a loud bang of the main door was heard.A mother's helpless sobbings filled the air.Then the girl heard faint footsteps edging nearer to her bedroom.She dashed to her bed in the nick of the time as the door opened creakingly.A warm hand smoothen the girl's hair.
